Bracelet Competition ensures Bracelet Supply

in time for International AIDS Conference in Mexico City 2008 

We were rushing to get stock for the International AIDS Conference where we were lucky enough to secure a booth in the Global Village. So we held a competition in South Africa to see which craft group could produce the most bracelets in the shortest time.

The Competition

The crafters of Masivane were the winning group. These women worked through the night by candlelight to make the delivery date and won the competition receiving blankets for their hard work:
