What we DO with donations and proceeds of Orphan Bracelet sales

Over 90% of the proceeds of the Orphan Bracelet Campaign go towards helping mother's and children in South Africa whose lives have been severely impacted by HIV/AIDS.

CRAFTER TRAINING Program

We craft the orphan bracelets in the Eastern Cape of South Africa working with community organizations, such as health forums, church groups, as well as smaller groups. One of these groups is a group of ladies who call themselves Siphile Sonke HIV (Living and Breathing HIV).

OBC is supporting 50 women in South Africa through the crafters program.

PERMACULTURE Gardens

The Orphan Bracelet Campaign donates seedlings,  fruit trees, permaculture training, tools and equipment to provide needed nutrition and increased self sufficiency of various communities.

OBC is planting perma culture gardens in orphanages and community centers, ensuring an ongoing supply of fruit and vegetables.

FEED THE CHILDREN Program

Every day of the week 600-900 children line up twice a day for a meal at the Emmanuel Advice and Care Center in their township.

ORPHAN CHILDREN & ORPHAN ELEPHANTS

The stories of the children are interwoven with the dramatic parallel saga of the orphaned elephants of Pilanesberg National Park in South Africa.  The story is portrayed in the documentary Angels in the Dust, an inspiring story about an extraordinary village that provides shelter, food, and education to more than 550 South African children.....
